The show is called “Trash Taste”.

Rather than settling on a single answer to one topic each time, the three hosts bring their own experiences and perspectives and let the conversation branch out.

On YouTube, the long main episodes are lined up with episode numbers, so if you're new, you may not be sure where to jump in.

This article covers how to navigate the official channel, the three hosts, the show's ties to Japan, and how the main show differs from the hosts' other outlets.

Figures such as the subscriber and video counts in this article were measured by this site at about 7:51 a.m. Japan time on October 29, 2026.

Trash Taste: An English-Language Podcast with Three Hosts

Trash Taste is an English-language podcast hosted by The Anime Man, Gigguk and CDawgVA.

Their management agency also presents the three as the show's hosts on the official GeeXPlus page.

The show isn't a lecture in which a set presenter simply explains information.

Instead, the three bring up things they've experienced or topics that caught their interest, and keep the conversation going by reacting to one another.

GeeXPlus's page describes Trash Taste as “one of the top podcasts in the world”. That's probably best read as the agency's own words of introduction.

The Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan (FCCJ) also held an event in English with Trash Taste as its guests on June 17, 2021.

The FCCJ's official record introduces the three as Joey “The Anime Man” Bizinger, Garnt “Gigguk” Maneetapho and Connor “CDawgVA” Colquhoun.

So the official record lets you confirm which real name goes with each of the names The Anime Man, Gigguk and CDawgVA.

The Official YouTube Channel at a Glance

The official YouTube channel is named “Trash Taste”, and its handle is @trashtaste.

Its channel ID is “UCcmxOGYGF51T1XsqQLewGtQ”.

As of October 29, 2026, the official channel had 1.61 million subscribers and 357 public videos.

Its total views at the same point were just over 491.64 million.

At that point, the most recent upload had gone up at 5:00 a.m. Japan time on October 24, 2026.

That confirms it was an active channel, still being updated as of October 29, 2026.

Subscriber and view counts change every day, so it wouldn't be surprising if the numbers differ on the day you search.

Episode Numbers Make the Main Show Easy to Follow

Trash Taste's main episodes carry a running number such as “#331” at the end of the title.

The main episode published on October 24, 2026, was #331.

The numbers make it easy to check the order in which episodes came out.

That said, it isn't a serialized story you can't follow unless you start from episode one.

It's set up so that you can easily jump in with an episode whose title catches your eye, or with a newer one.

It's probably easiest to start by opening the official channel and checking the main episodes' numbers in its “Videos” tab.

Here is #331, which we confirmed as the latest main episode as of October 29, 2026.

This video's owner had the same channel ID as the official channel.

The Three Hosts Also Run Their Own Channels

One thing that can be a little confusing when watching Trash Taste is that the main show and the hosts' personal outlets are separate.

The Anime Man, Gigguk and CDawgVA are also each active under their own names.

So even if a video features one of the three, it isn't necessarily a Trash Taste main episode.

If you're looking for the main show, you can tell it apart by checking that the channel name on the video page is Trash Taste and that the channel ID is “UCcmxOGYGF51T1XsqQLewGtQ”.

Besides the main YouTube channel, the agency's official page also links to “Trash Taste After Dark”.

We have not counted After Dark as part of the main show, so its video and subscriber counts are not added in. The numbers in this article are for the main channel only.

Official Records of a Japan-Based Show

The FCCJ billed the 2021 event as “Trash Taste: Japan-based YouTubers”.

Its listing also notes, “Language will be in English.”

It helps to think of Trash Taste less as a Japanese-language travel channel introducing Japan than as a show in which three people based in Japan talk in English.

In 2026, the Trash Taste name also appeared in official information from the KADOKAWA Group.

An announcement dated August 12, 2026 (in Japanese) introduced Trash Taste as a creator group managed by GeeXPlus.

The announcement said they were set to appear in the first episode of SCHOOL OF J-POP, a program on NHK WORLD-JAPAN.

Because that announcement came before the broadcast, this article does not go as far as saying the appearance aired.

Putting the 2021 FCCJ record side by side with the 2026 official announcement shows that Trash Taste has been introduced as a group of English-language creators based in Japan.

Which Episode Should You Start With?

If you're new, the simplest approach is probably to pick one of the numbered main episodes.

For a sense of the show's recent mood, there's the option of episodes with newer numbers; for specials themed on Japan, you can look for episodes with words like “Tokyo” in the title.

The official channel has also published a Trash Taste special about Tokyo's drive-thrus.

And here is one more main episode, which we confirmed as #330.

On October 27, 2026, we checked these videos' public status and whether they could be embedded.

YouTube settings can change, so if a video won't open, try finding it by number or title in the official channel's video list.

How to Check Official Information on Trash Taste

When you want to check something about the show, the surest place to start is the official YouTube channel and the GeeXPlus page.

You can check the channel's current figures and new videos on YouTube.

The GeeXPlus page brings together the fact that the three are the hosts, along with links to the main channel, After Dark, the official X account and Twitch.

For the show's connection to Japan as seen in past records, the FCCJ's official event record is useful.

For its activities in 2026, the KADOKAWA Group's official announcement is also a primary source.

Since separate official pages show the same show name and the same three hosts, you're unlikely to mistake it for any one host's personal channel.

Summary

Trash Taste is an English-language podcast hosted by The Anime Man, Gigguk and CDawgVA.

It's based in Japan, and its official YouTube channel publishes numbered main episodes.

As of October 29, 2026, it had 1.61 million subscribers and 357 public videos.

When watching the main show, check not only the channel name but also the ID “UCcmxOGYGF51T1XsqQLewGtQ”; that makes it easier to tell it apart from the hosts' personal outlets and other shows.

Starting with a newer-numbered episode and listening to the three talk is probably the easiest way to get a feel for the show.
